Dr. Johnny Kim was born and raised in South Korea and moved to Virginia for middle school and high school. Dr. Kim received his bachelor of science degree in neuroscience and chemistry at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He continued his dental education in New York at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine to earn his DDS. After a year of general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, Dr. Kim returned to Columbia University to earn his certificate in endodontics.
Dr. Kim is currently an associate clinical professor at St. Barnabas Residency Program. Dr. Kim is currently a member of American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and New York Dental Association.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, golfing and exploring new cuisines. He is fluent in English and Korean and conversational in Spanish.
